Overview.
This 7-day combined tour pairs the core Gobi Desert loop with two days in Terelj National Park near Ulaanbaatar, framing the trip with rocky-formation landscape on one end and desert on the other. The Gobi half covers Tsagaan Suvarga, Yoliin Am ice canyon, the Khongor Singing Dunes with Bactrian camel riding, and the Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs. The Terelj half adds Turtle Rock (a 24-meter granite formation), the Aryabal Meditation Temple on a forested hillside, and the 40-meter Chinggis Khan equestrian statue at Tsonjin Boldog on the way back to Ulaanbaatar. Travel is by Toyota Land Cruiser; group size is two to six guests.
